In the summer of 2019 to keep busy during the Covid 19 Pandemic, I began doing Pastel Pet Portraits from photographs that people texted me. At first I worked on commissions for various residents in the apartment building where I live, Then after posting samples on facebook and instagram I began to receive referrals from friends, family and aquaintences.

I enjoy creating pet portraits that bring pleasure to pet owners with these vivid images of pets living or deceased that can be treasured forever.

The procedure for engaging me is as follows:

Text, Email or mail me a photograph that clearly and accurately shows your pet as you see it. I prefer not to have to work from photos with indistinct characteristics that make me guess.

Then, once we agree on a price + shipping, I will create the portrait and text you the artwork for your approval.

Once final approval is obtained you can pay me on Venmo ( Venmo@Arnold-Clapman) or mail me a check and when payment is received I will ship the finished artwork to your mailing address.
